ON proposals that stricter regulations be imposed for POGO operations to protect local labor and concerns of security, Nograles said Congress must bide its time and allow them to continue operating.Pineda, chairman of the House Committee on Labor and Employment, said that while concerns aired by labor leaders should not be ignored, there remains no cogent reason for local workers to feel threatened.
Pineda also backed Pagcor’s proposal to establish POGO hubs, saying that the state-run gaming firms should consider relocating operators in special economic zones.
