A group of private hospitals in the country on Saturday, May 28, said a “slight” increase in hospital admissions has been observed recently.

Dr. Jose Rene de Grano, president of the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines, Inc. , said the recent increase of admissions in private hospitals is still “manageable.”

Private hospitals, he said, are not worried about the slight increase as the symptomatic patients who were hospitalized are not suffering from severe Covid-19.
