Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Debold Sinas has started a massive revamp in the police force, including key positions in Metro Manila and regional offices that affected 27 senior police officials.

Brig. Gen. Ronnie Montejo, the current district director of the Quezon City Police District was named as the new director of the Police Regional Office 7, or Central Visayas. He replaced Brig. Gen. Albert Ignatius Ferro who was designated to lead the Directorate for Information and Communication Technology .

Montejo will be replaced by Brig. Gen. Danilo Macerin as the QCPD director while the MPD will be taken over by Brig. Gen. Leo Francisco. Brig. Gen. Florencio Ortilla was designated as the number two man of the National Capital Region Police Office , being the deputy director for Administration, while Brig. Gen. Antonio Yarra was designated as the NCRPO deputy regional director for Operations.

Brig. Gen. Herminio Tadeo was named deputy director of the Directorate for Human Resources and Doctrine Development while Brig. Gen. Armando de Leon as deputy director of the Directorate for Information and Communications Technology .
