Series of operations lead to confiscation of P6.5-million illegal drugs in Cebu

In less than 24 hours over the weekend, operatives of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) seized P6.5-million worth of illegal drugs and arrested four persons considered to be high-value targets.

Senior Master Sergeant Erasmo Rosel Jr. said it took them three weeks of surveillance before they were able to corner the suspects.

Major Kenneth Paul Albotra, chief of the San Nicolas Police, said investigation was ongoing to identify Tura’s cohorts.

Suspected shabu weighing 520 grams was seized from the suspect, who was allegedly a known pusher in the barangay, said Police Major Kenneth Paul Albotra.
