San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora announced that the city is now getting close to achieving herd immunity against COVID-19 after vaccinating over 70,000 of its target population against the coronavirus disease.

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora announced on Thursday that the city is now getting close to achieving herd immunity against COVID-19 after vaccinating over 70,000 of its target population against the coronavirus disease.

He added that the city now only needs to vaccinate 11,413 more individuals or around 13 percent of the target population. “At the rate we’re going, I believe these targets are achievable as long as constant supply would be on hand, I don’t think there will be any problem,” Zamora said.
