The San Juan city local government launched on Saturday, Jan. 8 the “Sumbungan ng Bayan” hotlines where residents can report individuals and business establishments violating the city’s ordinance that restricts the mobility of unvaccinated persons.

On Jan. 4, Mayor Francis Zamora signed the City Ordinance No. 1, Series of 2022, which states the guidelines for the unvaccinated individuals under Alert Level 3. Individuals who have not yet received COVID-19 jabs are also prohibited from indoor and outdoor dining in restaurants, entering malls, hotels, events, and country clubs. Violators who will be caught will be charged.

Fully or half-vaccinated citizens are required to show their vaccination cards upon entering business establishments.
