Presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo said on Wednesday, Jan. 19, there should be a law that will provide the mechanism for persons with disabilities to participate in crafting policies that directly impact them.

That's the job of legislators and the reason we voted for them. If we're going to participate in making laws for ourselves, do we get paid the amount of salary the senators get? What about the millions of other groups and types of citizens? Do they also get their own system
I see nothing wrong with this. Kahit sinasabi ng iba na may batas na, ang tanong narereinforce ba? Inclusivity is the key. At least nga nakakarinig tayo ng mga ganyang statements fron an authentic leader na willing to listen to thise who are marginalized.

There is RA 7277 & IRR of RA 10524. This is a strange strawman argument, since the problem must be dealt with, or have already been dealt with by LGUs. Local implementation is the main challenge, not policy crafting. Also, legislation requires competence, not inclusivity.
