That's according to Vice President Leni Robredo, who slammed Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo for playing down the traffic situation in the metropolis.
Robredo said the Duterte administration has to admit the existence of the problem in order for it to be solved. "Mabuti si Secretary Panelo, once niya lang naramdaman. Pero 'yung mga kababayan natin, araw-araw, ito 'yung pakikibaka," she said in her radio show Sunday. "'Yung nakakalungkot lang 'pag public official 'yung nagsasabing walang krisis. Kasi 'pag sinabi mong walang krisis, wala ka talagang gagawin, kasi para sa 'yo walang problema. Para sa atin, 'yung pinakaunang paraan para may gawin, 'yung pagtanggap na talagang malaki 'yung problema," she added.
Robredo also called for the administration to fix the mass transport system to alleviate the plight of commuters.
