With a population of around three million people, Quezon City has faced the enormous task of containing COVID-19.

The city is always under scrutinizing eyes over its pandemic strategies, from active case-finding, to vaccination efforts. Eighteen months into the raging pandemic, Quezon City, along with 16 other local government units in Metro Manila, is at the forefront of the pilot run of an experimental lockdown scheme in the capital region.

In this episode of Rappler Talk, reporter Dwight de Leon sits down with Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte to discuss how the city is adapting to the change of policy.
