The Quezon City Council has passed an ordinance seeking to strengthen the city’s mechanisms in the delivery of treatment and care services to People Living with HIV (PLHIV).

The Quezon City Council has passed an ordinance seeking to strengthen the city’s mechanisms in the delivery of treatment and care services to People Living with HIV .

The measure is also in line with the city’s #ZeroAt2030 campaign which targets zero cases, deaths, and discrimination for PLHIV by 2030. As of Sept. 7, around 173 Quezon City residents were diagnosed positive for HIV, 62% are on treatment, according to the QC Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit .
