But 89,154 families have yet to get their assistance as they did not show up during their schedule.Social Services Development Department head Fe Macale shared that the distribution was quick because they have updated the beneficiary list, removing unqualified and duplicate names.Macale further said that should there be remaining funds, they will be allocated for residents who appealed.
“Kapag may natitira pang pondo pagkatapos nating maibigay ‘yung ayuda para sa mga unclaimed, residents who filed grievances or complaints will now be subject for payout,” Macale noted.Each eligible individual is subject to P1,000 ECQ cash aid, but not more than P4,000 per family.
