The Quezon City government on Sunday, Nov. 28, condemned the allegations that the city prevented a presidential and vice-presidential candidate to hold an event in the Quezon Memorial Circle .
This, after the Team Malayang Quezon City Rep. Mike Defensor’s statement on Saturday, Nov. 27, said that the city government did not allow a motorcade that was supposed to be conducted by the political tandem on Dec. 8. He added that they already checked the date and venue in the park for the event which turned out to be available, but the office of the mayor said that the schedule was already taken and declined their request.
In a statement released by the local government on Sunday, Nov. 28, it said that the insinuation is a “blatant example of fake news.” It added that the group was offered an alternate venue to hold the activity as the original space that they requested is not meant for such activities.“Alam naman po natin na panahon ng pulitika ngayon. Ngunit ang ganitong klaseng pang-iintriga at panilinlang ay hindi wastong gawain kahit kailan,” it stated.
Kailan kaya pupwede?
Hindi kami pinanganak kahapon lang. Kaya sana huwag naman kami gaguhin ng ibang mga politiko.
puro denialsssss!!!!
