“Starting 18 October 2019, soldiers conferred with Medal of Valor and their first degree dependents are exempted from paying the Passenger Terminal Fees in all PPA-owned passenger terminals by virtue of PPA Administrative Order No. 08 – 2019 issued on 24 September 2019 as directed by DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade, in recognition of their patriotism and heroism,” the PPA said.
The soldiers must need to present their valid Medal of Valor Identification Card issued by the Armed Forces of the Philippines at terminal fee counters in order to avail the exemption.
