Police were caught on live television mistakenly restraining a black family defending a store from apparent looters in California, United States amid ongoing protests in the country over the death of civilian George Floyd. | IBiongINQ

“Sir, they’re the store owners, they were protecting [from] the looters, sir. Sir, they’re protecting the store! The looters are over there!” Gonzalez frantically explained to the police.

“[Officers] have citizens that are flagging them down, not knowing what’s going on, and until they sort everything out, they don’t know who they’re dealing with… They don’t know if they’re good guys, bad guys and so we have to get it under control first and then sort everything out,” Neiman was quoted as saying.
