With the pandemic greatly impacting people’s lives and livelihoods, the Philippine Marketing Association hopes to address the future of the field in its upcoming national conference.
“The past few months have been critical and volatile in our nation. We have to be armed with tools to help us move forward,” said overall NMC chair Pinky Yee in the event’s media launch on Tuesday, which will emphasize the importance of forging a legacy of leaving a better world for succeeding generations.
Featuring several keynote addresses and panel discussions, the three-day event will take on four major themes:- Optimizing Collaboration in a Fragmented WorldRenowned industry leaders in the region will participate in the event, such as Asia Marketing Federation president Boojong Kim, UN Resident Coordinator in the Philippines Gustavo Gonzales, Marketing Institute of Singapore president Roger Wang, and Prophet partner Jacqueline Thang.
“There’s an image that we have to create. There’s an image that we have to build. And we have to slowly try to recalibrate many of our practices so that that image of what is an ideal future can really be attained by many institutions, organizations, sectors and societies,” said Pulse Asia Research president Dr. Ronald Holmes, who will also be a conference speaker.
