The Philippine Marketing Association’s 51st National Marketing Conference hopes not only to tackle new approaches to marketing amid COVID-19, but also to forge a legacy of leaving a better world for succeeding generations.
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 26) —With the pandemic greatly impacting people’s lives and livelihoods, the Philippine Marketing Association hopes to address the future of the field in its upcoming national conference.The PMA’s 51st National Marketing Conference, which will run from January 18-20, 2022, espouses the theme “Reimagineering the Future of Marketing” and is the first to be held virtually.
“The past few months have been critical and volatile in our nation. We have to be armed with tools to help us move forward,” said overall NMC chair Pinky Yee in the event’s media launch on Tuesday, which will emphasize the importance of forging a legacy of leaving a better world for succeeding generations.
Yee, who is also the chief executive officer of Pure Essentials Corp., added that the conference aims to help attendees hone their marketing communications activities to better adapt to “future scenarios shaped by environmental forces.”Featuring several keynote addresses and panel discussions, the three-day event will take on four major themes: headtopics.com

On the local level, the conference will also feature the likes of DITO CME Holdings chief operating officer Donald Lim, McDonald’s Philippines managing director Margot Torres, RCBC executive vice president Lito Villanueva, and Philippine Association of National Advertisers president Marvin Tiu Lim.
“There’s an image that we have to create. There’s an image that we have to build. And we have to slowly try to recalibrate many of our practices so that that image of what is an ideal future can really be attained by many institutions, organizations, sectors and societies,” said Pulse Asia Research president Dr. Ronald Holmes, who will also be a conference speaker.
The PMA expects up to 2,500 delegates for the 51st NMC, with each participant up for a “personalized, interactive” experience despite attending remotely.
