Pisay lends QC campus to Philippine Children's Medical Center COVID19 LuzonLockdown

MANILA- The Philippine Science High School is lending its Quezon City campus to patients and employees of the Philippine Children's Medical Center, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles said Monday.

The school will host COVID-19 frontliners who cannot go home yet as a precautionary measure against the spread of the disease. "May we all be inspired by their examples and open our hearts to those stricken by COVID-19 and those who care for them," Nograles said. The Philippine Science High School earlier announced that faculty members and staff of its 8 campuses are working to form face shields for medical workers and other COVID-19 frontliners.

As of Monday, the Philippines has a total of 3,660 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 163 deaths and 73 recoveries.
