THE Philippines recorded again Tuesday, November 30, the lowest number of new coronavirus disease cases in a day since July 2020 with the Department of Health logging 425 additional infections.

These new infections brought the country’s total case count to 2,832,734, of which 15,800 are active cases . The country’s positivity rate stood at 2.1 percent, based on the 24,442 samples tested last November 28. The death toll continued to increase with 44 new mortalities logged on Tuesday, November 30. The country’s total was already at 48,545 .
