The Philippines has imposed a ban on the entry of travelers from South Korea’s North Gyeongsang province in a bid to contain the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). | KAguilarINQ

“I’d like to announce that the Inter-agency Task Force on Infectious Disease met today and it has approved to impose a ban on the entry of travelers

coming from North Gyeongsang province of South Korea effective immediately,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said in a press briefing Wednesday.

KAguilarINQ How does a country prevent koreans from a specific province (daegu) from coming in when they r flying from seoul incheon or busan? Also, korea is a small country. It would be like korea banning visitors from baguio who r commuting to naia or clark first.
