Gazini Ganados, the country’s bet at the Miss Universe this year walked tall and proud during the pageant’s preliminary rounds, as she tried to secure a spot in the finals.
Ganados, who is also the top pick of pageant fans to get the most coveted “Miss Universe” crown and sash Monday, flaunted her curves in a floral bikini. For the evening gown competition, she wore a yellow gown, which was reminiscent of the one she wore during her crowning moment as Binibining Pilipinas-Miss Universe.
In the final stage of the Miss Universe preliminaries, Gazini Ganados opted for a hand-stitched Cary Santiago piece, which was inspired by the country’s national bird Philippine eagle.One of this year’s hosts of the Miss Universe preliminary contest is reigning queen Catriona Gray. She was with television producer and writer Nick Teplitz.
