MANILA - The employees of the Philippine Basketball Association were tested for COVID-19 on Saturday, and the league office was disinfected on Sunday in preparation for the workforce's return.
"We're hoping everybody's negative and that we can all go back to attend our duties, full force, by June," said PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial. Marcial has stressed that the PBA will follow government guidelines on what activities are allowed as the National Capital Region transitions to general community quarantine.
"This makes us optimistic that our teams can be allowed to return to the gym for individual workouts by shift," Marcial said.
