MANILA, Philippines -- NLEX head coach Yeng Guiao has conceded that Kiefer Ravena is unlikely to play again for the Road Warriors in the conference, unless they make it to the semifinals of the PBA Philippine Cup.
He will thus miss the resumption of the PBA season, as the All-Filipino Conference is expected to begin again in the first week of September after being stopped on August 3 due to rising COVID-19 Delta variant cases. "He will undergo 14 days quarantine in Japan and when he comes back to the Philippines, he will spend another 10 days in quarantine, so that’s more than three weeks," said Guiao.
The Road Warriors had a 2-2 record when the league stopped its games. Ravena was averaging 15.8 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.8 rebounds for the team.
