Park Seo Joon and Lee Young Ae gave hefty donations to the city of Daegu in South Korea, which was hit by the COVID-19, to help combat the disease. | DYGalvezINQ

An article from Korean news website Soompi revealed on Saturday that Lee donated 50 million won, which is approximately 41,420 dollars, last Friday, Feb. 21, to “help the citizens of Daegu combat COVID-19.”“It appears that the situation has worsened for the citizens of Daegu due to COVID-19. Our family hopes that the people of Daegu will be able to overcome these difficult times,” Soompi quoted Lee as saying.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Feb. 22, actor Park donated 100 million won, which is approximately 82,850 dollars, to aid the COVID-19 stricken city.
