MANILA - Malacañang on Saturday expressed hope that justice would finally come for 44 Special Action Force commandos killed in the 2015 botched anti-terror raid in Mamasapano, Maguindanao.

MANILA - Malacañang on Saturday expressed hope that justice would finally come for 44 Special Action Force commandos killed in the 2015 botched anti-terror raid in Mamasapano, Maguindanao.

As Filipinos pay homage to the bravery of the elite police commandos, he urged the public to "learn and reflect from the mistakes of this botched police operation that it will never happen again." The policemen were part of Oplan Exodus, a 2-pronged mission to serve arrest warrants on international terrorist Zulkifli bin Hir, alias “Marwan,” and bomb-making expert Abdul Basit Usman. Both were killed in the operation.

The anti-graft court said in its resolution that “upon a motu proprio evaluation of the records of the present cases,” the charges are dismissed for lack of probable cause.

Palace: US Senate move also made Duterte junk VFAPresident Duterte’s decision to terminate the Visiting Forces Agreement with the United States was due to an “accumulation” of factors and not just the cancellation of the US visa of Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, Panelo said. Palusot ka Panelo! Congress lang puedeng magterminate ng VFA. Sabagay control nyo ang congress! So dare your threat let us see the result. Taiwan has agreed already to have their US base! Matira ang matibay! Come on, a decision based on the visa of one person, how important could he be in the scheme of things that the security of more than a 100 million people are put at ridk because of him? It would've been believable but Duterte said he won't junk the VFA if dela Rosa's visa is reinstated within one month.

After Duterte threat, Philippines now working on VFA termination – PalaceThe Philippine government is now working on the process of terminating the Visiting Forces Agreement between the Philippines and United States— a day after President Rodrigo Duterte threatened to scrap the 1998 deal over the cancellation of Senator Bato Dela Rosa’s visa. Duterte cant do shit against China despite their countless harassment to our property and Filipino fishermen yet would go this far just because of Bato's visa termination. 😐 Reality check: no world leaders will ever attempt to invade other nations... more so on the Philippines.
