Quezon City Police Station 6 chief, Lt. Col. Joel Villanueva, identified the arrested suspects as Cisario De Ocampo, 19, a senior high school student and Jessica De Jesus, 31, a guest relation officer, both from Caloocan City.
Police said the duo were involved in illegal drug peddling in parts of Quezon City prompting members of PS-6 Drug Enforcement Unit to conduct a buy-bust against them. A police officer posed as a buyer and transacted with the duo at Upper Everlasting Extension in Barangay Payatas A around 9:35 p.m.Authorities seized from the two are some sachets of shabu weighing 25 grams amounting to P170 000.
Arrested suspects are now under police custody and were charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 while pieces of evidence were turned over to the Crime Laboratory Office.#
