Assistant State Prosecutor Christine Perolino concluded on Tuesday the conduct of the preliminary investigation of the kidnapping complaint filed against Colmenares and his co-respondents concerning the recruitment of minors for leftist groups.
Under the complaint, the respondents are accused of having violated Republic Act 10364 , RA 11188 , and RA 7610 . The case was filed by the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and private complainant Relisa Lucena who accused the respondent of taking her daughter Alicia to join Anakbayan.“Yung magkasulangat yung opinyon natin, under the Constitution, it’s freedom of expression. Bakit naman kami pahirapan just because we chose dissent from you ,” Colmenares pointed out.
