Yes, it did. Trivia: In the 1988 Seoul Olympics, we won Gold in Bowling (c/o Arianne Cerdena) which was a demonstration sport then, not yet an olympic sport. Interestingly, Tokyo 2020 would have been the first olympics with bowling as an olympic sport but Tokyo didnt include it
