Olango Island to finally get 24/7 electricity supply

Olango Island will have 24/7 electricity through the help of the 3,600-kilowatt Olango Power Plant, Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan announced on Thursday, February 25.

Mactan Electric Company general manager Gilbert Pagobo guaranteed that starting next week, they would be able to provide 24/7 electricity to the houses of the island.Positibo ko nga mulambo ang Olango gumikan sa stable nga power supply nga makatabang sa panginabuhian sa matag OlangohanonChan added that this would very much attract future investors to the island. He also noted that the power plant had enough supply to support expansions in the livelihoods of the Olangohanons.
