“Mananawagan din po kami, yung mga nurses—lalo na ‘yung hindi naman sila makakaalis ng bansa—mag-apply muna sa amin,” NKTI Executive Director Dr. Rose Marie Rosete-Liquete said in an interview on Dobol B sa News TV on Wednesday.Liquete cited that other dialysis centers have been rejecting patients due to fear of the coronavirus disease 2019 .
“Kung mga nag-negative na ‘yung iba at nalaman namin kasi may test na panawagan namin tanggapin na sila ng mga dialysis sa labas kasi hindi na ho makakayanan ng NKTI,” Liquete said.Liquete added there are some patients complaining over some delays in the treatment. “Ang aming mga nurses, mga technicians, eh kinukulang na nga din. Minsan nagrereklamo pa yung iba bakit nadedelay sila.”
She explained that they still have to conduct decontamination in between sessions. “Hindi naman puwedeng salang nang salang sunod-sunod,” she added. For those who are interested, they can contact the Human Resources Department of the hospital at 8981 0400.#
