Only 4,774 out of over 48,500 persons deprived of liberty in Bureau of Corrections-managed prisons have been vaccinated against COVID-19

Nearly one out of 10 persons deprived of liberty in prisons managed by the Bureau of Corrections have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Among the inoculated inmates, only 3,324 are fully vaccinated while the rest had already received their first dose. The Correctional Institute for Women in Mandaluyong City, meanwhile, tallied 3,100 fully vaccinated PDLs.
