MANILA – The Mapua Cardinals made it two wins in a row after fending off Emilio Aguinaldo College , 76-66, in the NCAA Season 95 men's basketball tournament on Tuesday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Mapua was ahead 35-27 at the half, before exploding for 25 points in the third frame to pull away. On the other end, they limited the Generals to just 12 points.Mapua shot 46.5% from the field, and had a 42-35 edge in rebounding. They would lead by as much as 25 points in the contest, before EAC made a late run to make the final margin more respectable.
