NBA legend Kobe Bryant killed in helicopter crash – reports

LOS ANGELES, USA – NBA legend Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash in suburban Los Angeles on Sunday, January 26 , multiple American news outlets reported.

TMZ first reported of the death of the retired 41-year-old Los Angeles Lakers icon and it was further confirmed by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Kobe Bryant is among those dead in a helicopter crash outside Los Angeles, a source confirms to ESPN.

TMZ and ABC 7 reported the Bryant was in his private helicopter. At least five people died in the crash according to the LA Fire Department.
