The Muntinlupa police arrested 49 wanted persons, confiscated nearly P551,000 worth of illegal drugs and recorded 10 incidents of major crimes in January.

Muntinlupa police chief Col. Angel Garcillano presented the police’s accomplishments during a recent City Peace and Order Council meeting.According to the report, from Jan. 1 to 25 this year, the Muntinlupa police recorded 10 incidents of major crimes, down from 12 incidents tallied during the same period last year.

A total of nine persons were also arrested for loose firearms. On illegal gambling, 13 operations were conducted by the police, resulting in the arrest of 44 persons and the confiscation of P10,440. Included in the report is the arrest of German vlogger “Mr. Pogi German” who has been charged for violation of Republic Act 8353 or the New Anti-Rape Law.
