Staff members of Cabalen Restaurant Ali Mall in Quezon City gave a warm Filipino welcome to the delegates during dinner in the restaurant which marks its 33rd anniversary this year. The candidates lined up at the buffet table as they chose among the wide variety of delicious Filipino dishes.Saturnina Espanya, who was celebrating her 97th birth anniversary at the restaurant with her family, was a lucky grandmother when some of the candidates gathered around her, and sang her a happy birthday song.“I enjoyed the grilled fish. But I want to try here something that I am not used to,” said Mr. Mexico Brian Arturo Gonzalez.“The pork dish is really nice.

“The chicken is good! I’m a Muslim so I can’t eat pork. My friend told me that I should try isaw?” said Mr. Bangladesh Mahadi Hasan Fahim. “I really don’t know what I ate but I love the white noodles and chicken,” said Mr. Cameroon Makala Courtez.“The chicken and the fish are good.
