MANILA, Philippines — More than 1.7 million AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine doses arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Saturday.

The 1,746,160 AstraZeneca vaccine doses were donated by the government of the United Kingdom through the COVAX facility, according to the National Taskforce Against COVID-19 .The delivered vaccine doses bring the total number of vaccine doses donated by the UK this week to 5.2 million, according to British Embassy Deputy Head of Mission Alastair Walton Totty.
