Bong Nebrija, MMDA EDSA Traffic chief, said the implementation of such will reduce more than 100,000 vehicles or 30 percent of the 388, 000 vehicles traveling along EDSA, both private and public.

“We are seeing around 100,000 vehicles that will be reduced with the carpooling policy, which is around 30 percent of the total vehicles on EDSA,” he told reporters.
