MAYNILA – Nilinaw ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority nitong Sabado na nasa Department of Health ang desisyon kaugnay ng alert-level status sa Metro Manila, kasunod ng hinaing ng ilang alkalde na hindi sila nakonsulta sa pagluluwag.
"I would like to point out lang po na pagdating sa pagbababa ng alert level, ayon sa pilot po natin na kondisyon, iisang ahensya lamang ang magde-determine dito – hindi po ang mga mayors, hindi po kung sino man even DTI – ayon sa kondisyon, it is only the Department of Health,” saad ni Abalos sa public briefing sa government television nitong Sabado.
Pero isiniwalat nina Marikina Mayor Marcelino Teodoro na walang naging pag-uusap sa pagitan ng mga alkalde at ng IATF sa pagluluwag.Ayon kay Abalos, ipinaliwanag ng DOH na bumubuti na ang sitwasyon sa Metro Manila kaya maari na ring ibaba ang alert-level status.
