In an interview with DWIZ on Saturday, Parañaque Mayor Edwin Olivarez, who is also the chairman of MMC, said the 17 Metro Manila mayors who compose the MMC, will be consulting experts for recommendations on theThe MMC which is composed of all the mayors of Metro Manila, serves as the policy-making body for the metropolis.
“Iyong pong mga lungsod na under GCQ [general community quarantine], hahayaan sa judgment ng LGUs. Kaya nga po sa paguusap ng MMC, ito pong darating na Monday, Tuesday night, magkakaroon po kami ulit ng pagpili ng MMC. Inimbitahan ang experts, sa DOH [Department of Health] para magbigay ng data and recommendation regarding dito kung papayagan ang mga batang ito,” he said, reacting to the eased age restriction rule for MGCQ areas.
