Mga Pilipino sa NZ, nakatanggap ng COVID-19 vax

AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND --- Naging matagumpay ang community program na free for all COVID-19 vaccine para sa mga Filipino sa Auckland, New Zealand dahil na rin sa pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan ng mga Filipino volunteer. At sa tulong ng Asian Health Services sa ilalim ng Waitemata District Health Board o WDHB, naikasa ang nasabing proyekto noong September 1, 11, 12 at 22, 2021.

Wala ring pinipili ang free COVID-19 vax program dahil may visa o wala, basta’t Pilipino, puwedeng magpabakuna sa pamamagitan ng pagpapadala ng mensahe sa social media account ni Udanga at ng iba pang Filipino volunteers. “Nakakatulong kami sa paghikayat sa mga Pilipino para magpabakuna sila, lalo na ang mga expired na ang visa o TNT na sa New Zealand,” pagbabahagi ni Dennis Magcalas, 49 anyos, at 15 taon ng naninirahan sa bansa. Isa siya sa mga Pinoy volunteer ng programa.

“Naging comfortable naman pagdating namin sa vaccination site noon 12th Sept. 2021 sa 66 Clyde Road, sa Browns Bay dahil sa mga Pilipinong kababayan natin na sumalubong sa amin at nag-guide kung saan kami pipila at papasok.
