Metro Manila water supply enough amid month-long LuzonLockdown - NWRB

MANILA - There is sufficient water supply in Metro Manila, the state water regulator assured Friday, even as the Philippine capital region is on a month-long lockdown along with the rest of Luzon to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 .

Water is critical in the face of the virus crisis as it is necessary to maintain personal hygiene, with handwashing a vital measure against the disease. Steady water supply is also needed in communities for boosted cleanup and disinfection efforts, and in hospitals amid the rising number of cases and persons under investigation.
