The number of admissions nationwide related to coronavirus disease infections remain lower than that experienced when the Delta variant of the virus struck, although Metro Manila continues to remains at a “very high risk”.

Aaccording to education officials, face-to-face classes are likely to be expanded further this February in the elementary and high school levels with vaccinated teachers, personnel, and students in the classroom, according to the Department of Education .
