Maynilad says the adjustment was made to allow affected customers to have more time to prepare for the expected water interruptions during the period.

Maynilad has moved its scheduled pipeline realignment on Oct. 25-28 to Oct. 29-Nov. 1.

In a statement, the water concessionaire said the adjustment was made following the request of affected customers to give them more time to prepare for the expected water interruptions during the period. Impact is also expected to be lessened given that this will also occur during the observance of Undas, when people usually return to their provinces.

Maynilad said affected barangays are the same and only the date when the service interruption will occur changed. For now, Maynilad assured the public it will work with local authorities to increase the number of mobile tankers and stationary water tanks ahead of the water interruptions.
