Marvin Agustin is one showbiz personality who can accurately be described as an actor-turned-successful entrepreneur. After making hearts aflutter from the '90s through the 2000s as a teen idol and sought-after leading man, Agustin bravely branched out into the food and beverage industry thrived even more.In 2005, he opened his first-ever restaurant, the modern Japanese bistro SumoSam, which was an instant hit.

'And as an astute businessman, Agustin shared that he went ahead to reinforce his investment in his restaurants' best asset.'I forged partnerships with Maxicare, a healthcare provider, and gave everyone in our staff SME Healthcare Plans.'Designed for small and medium-sized enterprises , the plan Agustin chose caters to businesses with as few as three employees. Moreover, contributions start as low as P4,600 to P6,000 per employee per year.
