“Last week, one of my labmates gave me this sample to analyze. This is a normal occurrence in our lab, so I had no suspicions whatsoever. Little did I know that this sample will change my life forever.

Her boyfriend contacted Thermo Fisher Scientific—a US company that makes peptides, to synthesize the “MARRYME” sequence peptide. “So after doing the analysis yesterday, I messaged him and said, of course, I’ll marry you. Pero nasaan ang singsing? Hahaha. Sabi niya may part 2 pa daw ang proposal. So ang tanong ko, ano na status namin? Haha,” she went on.
