Chinese President Xi Jinping will bring stability not only to China but also to the rest of the region, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said.

In a recent interview with China’s state-run news channel CGTN, Marcos said it was “welcome news” for the Philippines to learn that Xi was re-elected as party leader of Chinese Communist Party, allowing him to serve a third-term as China’s president.“That’s why I think there is much that we can do working together in the future,” he added. His state visit to China has resulted in benefits to the Filipino people, according to Marcos.

“So, this is I think something I believe we will be able to strengthen and to make even more rapid in terms of the progress,” he said. Agriculture is among the sectors in which China has good experiences to share, Marcos said. Extending assistance in this field will address issues of food security amid the Ukraine-Russia conflict and other factors, he added.

Marcos eyes Maharlika fund ‘soft launch’ at WEF in SwitzerlandDepartment of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Carlos Sorreta said that since the measure is only a proposal, the “soft launch” at the WEF means Marcos will “introduce” to fellow world leaders and the business elite its concept. Pre-empty strike ni mukong! Legislative is separate from Executive branch. BBM is so ignorant about the branches of the democratic Gov’t. For simple reason he’s not a college degree holder. He fooled lots of well-educated pinoy though, and trying to fool the senate.
