It can reduce risks of hospitalization and deaths by 88 to 89 percent when taken within three to five days from the onset of symptoms.'I am grateful to our friends at the FDA for acting quickly.
According to foreign health experts, the pill can be used to treat mild to moderate coronavirus disease in adults and pediatric patients who are 12 years of age and older who test positive for Covid-19 and are at high risk of hospitalization or death.Pfizer is expected to apply for the emergency use authorization of its antiviral drug in the Philippines in January.The city has ramped up its vaccination drive amid the new surge in Covid-19 cases.
