The city of Manila has fully vaccinated more than half million individuals.

In his regular live update on Facebook, Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said the 503,113 persons have already received their second dose from the city government as of July 29.

The mayor said the number of individuals who have been fully vaccinated in the city is “almost half of the entire qualified population” for vaccination in Manila, and almost “60 percent of the 70 percent target” for herd immunity. The city has also inoculated 819,247 persons with the first dose which is equivalent to 76 percent of its eligible population for vaccination.
