Luke Hemmings and Sierra Deaton are engaged

5 Seconds of Summer frontman Luke Hemmings announced on Tuesday, June 8 that he is now engaged to girlfriend Sierra Deaton.

On his Instagram, the 24-year-old singer shared photos from his proposal. “With shaking hands but a full heart, I proposed to my best friend earlier this year,” he said. Hemmings also addressed his fiancée in the post, “I love you Thao and I can’t imagine my life without you.”when she was in the indie-pop duo Alex & Sierra alongside ex-boyfriend Alex Kinsey, said she “can’t wait for forever” with Hemmings.

“It was fun keeping this a secret for so long, but my heart is nearly bursting at the seams,” the 30-year-old musician wrote on her Instagram.
