Light Rail Transit Line 1 operator Light Rail Manila Corporation said on Monday, April 19, that it will no longer suspend operations from April 24 to 25.due to maintenance work.
On Monday, LRMC said major rehabilitation work was already completed when it suspended operations from April 17 to 18. "Our engineering team did their best to accelerate and compress activities through improved planning and coordination. LRT1 will no longer need another one-weekend shutdown and will be back to serve our passengers this coming weekend," said LRMC chief operating officer Enrico Benipayo.
There will be no changes in the LRT1 service schedule, with the last trip leaving Baclaran Station at 9:15 pm and Balintawak Station at 9:30 pm. The first trains from both ends leave the station at 4:30 am daily.
