A great number of Filipinos opted for bikes—as a mode of transport to take them to work, for their errands, and for riding adventures. Pretty understandable. It’s a more cost-effective option compared to owning a car.Marc John Buencamino, Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation’s head of commercial retail and office business group, is a rider himself. He knows that more than ever, people are getting on their motorbikes to stroll and explore.
“Within just a couple of days, riders already came in groups and the area became a natural nook for them,” says Marc. Some days, one can see over 80 bikes in the area. Some would do group rides, park at MotoStrEAT, and have dinner or breakfast to unwind and recharge, observes marketing head Sean Luarca. Dining haunts nearby are TGIFridays, Fowl Bread, Krispy Kreme, Seattle’s Best, Bench Café, Pound, Brothers Burger and many others.“For a more convenient and seamless dining experience, we placed QR code stickers in our al fresco tables, in partnership with JustPayTo,” says Sean.
