Presidential aspirant Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said he is against the legalization of abortion, even those rape-related cases.During the 2022 Presidential One-On-One Interviews with Boy Abunda aired on Thursday, Jan. 27, Domagoso was then given a scenario where a woman got pregnant from rape.
“I don’t like taking life, so ayaw ko ng abortion. But I am pro-choice in terms of other things like ‘yung kung ano ‘yung mga accessible na pwedeng ibigay ng estado para sa family planning ,” he said. “Dahil ‘yang bata na ‘yan na nasa sinapupunan ng nanay walang kakayanan ipagtanggol ang sarili niya. Buhay na ‘yun eh, life na ‘yon ,” he pointed out.“Life is life… When there is life already, nobody should take it away kasi ipinagkaloob ng Diyos ‘yan .”
